Shane Acker

Animator and director who lives in Los Angeles. Received a Masters of Architecture from the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture, 1999, and an MFA in Animation from the UCLA Animation Workshop, where he also worked as a teaching assistant. Independent animations include THE HANGNAIL (2000), THE ASTOUNDING TALENTS OF MR. GRENADE (2003) and 9 (2005). He created character and settings animation for THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING (2003).(via)
